Charity is a virtue of the soul, and charity is a cause of happiness. For the past 20 years, our group has always taken accelerating development as our responsibility, continuously expanding investment areas, promoting the implementation of major projects, and making positive contributions to the improvement of the total economic output of the Gaoyou industry. Along the way, we have never forgotten to fulfill the social responsibility of enterprises and the civic responsibility of entrepreneurs. As early as 2003, when the Municipal Charity Association was established, our company was selected as the Executive Director of the Municipal Charity Association. For so many years, the group has been contributing to charitable and public welfare undertakings, and is tireless in doing so, with endless power.
The group company has been compassionate with the Municipal Charity Association for 20 years, and under the guidance of the Municipal Charity Association, has standardized a series of charitable donation activities. In 2003, the company paired up to assist 20 impoverished students at the Municipal Vocational Education Center, and donated 180000 yuan in tuition and living expenses through charity donations. Since 2006, we have donated over 400000 yuan in educational expenses to five families with difficult triplets. In 2008, over 2000 impoverished students in the city were sent down jackets worth over 1 million yuan. In 2010, 16 entrepreneurs actively responded to the "Entrepreneurs Charity Donation 1+1 Love Assistance Pairing Activity" organized by the Development Zone, which resulted in 31 impoverished students receiving an annual scholarship of 3000 yuan. We also donated 200000 yuan to pave, bridge, and install street lights for Nanfeng Primary School in Sanduo Town. Donate 1 million yuan to help build a new teaching building for Ergou Primary School in Sanduo Town.
In 2008, due to the severe snow disaster in the southern region, the group donated 75000 down jackets worth 35 million yuan to the affected areas of the province through provincial, municipal, and county charitable organizations; The "5.12" Wenchuan earthquake, the group's one-time disaster relief value of over 8 million yuan in down jackets; In the 2010 Yushu earthquake, another 1.2 million yuan was donated as a charity.
In February 2011, the Chairman of the Group, He Qixin, donated the 3 million yuan Special Contribution Award bonus awarded to him by the Gaoyou Municipal Party Committee and Government, all of which were donated to the Municipal Charity Federation on site, specifically for the development of charity and to support the disadvantaged groups of Gaoyou。
In 2013, the chairman of the group discovered that the breakfast of urban sanitation workers was brought from home with cold rice, cold vegetables, and cold soup. Upon seeing this, he felt very uncomfortable. Upon returning to the company, he immediately contacted relevant departments and decided to provide nearly 500 sanitation workers in the city with a free breakfast: a bowl of hot noodles and a poached egg. We have been persisting in this "bowl of noodles" act of kindness for more than 10 years. Over the past 10 years, we have sent out nearly 1.1 million love breakfasts and invested over 5 million yuan in charitable funds.
In recent years, the group has donated more than 4000 down jackets to Shaanxi Mizhi County, Qinghai Guinan Prefecture, and Ningxia Yinchuan, which are supported by Gaoyou; Every year, we also donate tens of thousands of yuan in poverty alleviation funds to paired towns and villages such as Linze Town, Longqiu Town, and the Development Zone, and send a batch of charitable funds such as down jackets, oil, and rice to the local disadvantaged.
Within our group, charity and mutual assistance are becoming a common practice. Regardless of any employee's family difficulties or illness, the company will extend a helping hand, allowing every employee to feel the warmth and strength of the big family. In 2020, the group also launched a special "Respect for the Elderly" payment, distributing 300 yuan per month to the parents of employees in the clothing industry park, allowing them to enjoy happiness in their later years and feel the warmth of love.
In order to support the construction of the "ecological agriculture" project, in 2020, the group provided nearly ten million yuan of funds for free to implement a water quality purification project in the Luoshi Marsh Shrimp Breeding Area of Longqiu Town, supporting ecological shrimp farming, and doing charitable deeds to help rural revitalization and walk the path of common prosperity.
In the past three years, our group has donated 200000 masks, more than 3000 down jackets, 20000 protective clothing, and more than 5000 boxes of mineral water, instant noodles and other materials worth millions of yuan to front-line anti epidemic personnel.
